THE ORDERING PROCESS

Fallon’s Angler is available to buy as single issues or as a subscription.

We are exploring ways that allow the customer to opt out of the registration process. In the meantime, if you would rather NOT register, please get in contact with the editor directly and will arrange payment another way.

Register first. Every customer has to set up an account. Every subsequent order will therefor require you to simply login, confirm the shipping address, and complete your purchase.

Data pledge. Fallon’s Angler will not sell your data on to third-party organisations, advertisers OR marketing firms. Your personal details are for our own accounting purposes ONLY. However, by registering as a customer, you are automatically added to the mailing list for Fallon’s Angler periodical digital newsletter, which will be sent by email, and which will notify you of any news concerning Fallon’s Angler, including when the next issue is available to purchase. If you do not want to receive these, simply unsubscribe from this email after you receive the first one.

Do I need a PayPal account to order Fallon’s AnglerNo, you can buy single issues with a debit or credit card. But you must register with Fallon’s Angler first to create an account. At the moment you need to create an account to purchase the magazine. When purchasing issues, just go through the checkout process and there will be an option on the PayPal page to use your card instead of a PayPal account.

I’ve paid you, so how do I do check the status of my order? Simply log in on our website and click on MY ACCOUNT. You should be able to see your order history and status and your billing and shipping address. Please remember that print version takes a little while to deliver (see SHIPPING FAQs below). If something doesn’t seem right with your order, just email us giving a brief description of the problem.

My order status is showing as ‘pending’ or ‘processing’. What does this mean? It means that we have your order, but that we have not received confirmation from PayPal that your payment has cleared. The notification from PayPal to our systems isn’t always instantaneous, and sometimes takes a little while. You do not need to resubmit your order or attempt to pay again; there is no way that you can speed up the process, but it is nothing to worry about. Should there be any problem with your order, we will get in touch.

SHIPPING

Which countries is Fallon’s Angler delivered to? Fallon’s Angler is delivered worldwide. The shipping charge will depend on whether you live in the UK, the EU or elsewhere and will be automatically calculated based on the shipping address you provide.

Shipping is currently included in the basic price (£8). It then costs an extra 65p (£8.65) to send within the EU, and an extra £1.25 to send to the rest of the world (£9.25).

How long will my copy of Fallon’s Angler take to arrive? We try and process every order within 24 hours, with the exception of orders made over the weekend, which will be processed on Monday morning. If an order is processed by 8am (GMT), it will be posted that day. Postage to the UK typically takes between two and four days from the date of dispatch to reach the customer. Overseas delivery times are naturally longer – deliveries to Europe typically take between five and eight days to arrive, and other deliveries can take slightly longer.

We dispatch orders once every day, so the absolute maximum you should expect to wait to receive your copy is as follows:

UK address: 10 days

Europe address: two weeks

Rest of the world address: three weeks

If you think your copy has been lost in the post, please email us and we’ll look into it for you. For UK orders, we will consider the item lost in transit if it has not arrived within 10 working days of the date of dispatch. For European orders this period is 15 working days, and for non-European orders it is 20 working days.
